Dillon and Taylor reside in Morganton, NC, striving to be active and impactful within their community.

Dillon is a military retiree who was afforded many opportunities to lead hundreds of the military's finest service members throughout multiple stateside and overseas tours. He is a private practice mental health provider and a clinical addiction specialist in Morganton. He serves his community through different organizations, including as a member of the ‘Burke Rescue and SAR’ Board of Directors and the DHHS Child Protection Child Fatality Prevention Team.

Taylor is the MVP of the Smith family. She is a Special Education professional turned stay-at-home mom. She is a two-time graduate of Reich College of Education at appalachian state university. Go App! She serves her community through the Morganton Service League.

They have a daughter and son, Stella Rae and bear, and two freeloading dogs, Cadence and Luna. They are members of Zion Baptist Church in Morganton.
